Food which comes in to the food bank is very quickly given out to those in need.
As you can imagine, being on the receiving end of more than 100 referrals each month, requires a lot of food. In spite of the generosity of so many in and around our town, the reality is, we don't always have enough food to meet the need. Or we don't always have all the right types of foods in order to make up a complete, healthy, balanced food parcel.
In order to assist more people who want to donate the items that we need the most, we maintain and publish a WE NEED MORE... List. It's an ever-changing list of food items which you can print off and take with you next time you do you own grocery shopping. If you are able to purchase even a couple of items from the list, we would be so grateful.
All donations can be dropped off at any of our Collection Points listed here below.
